2019 AACS School Leaders Summit & Capitol Hill Day

The House and Senate Education Committees have set their agendas for the 116th Congress and higher education policy oversight and legislative revisions (reauthorization) are key priorities on their respective agendas. Given these priorities, AACS has invited four top-level staffers from each of the Committee offices to come and share their perspectives with us. During this important session we will hear directly from the individuals responsible for the day-to-day planning, development, and roll-out of higher education policy, what their goals and objectives are, what proposals are being formulated to go into any HEA reauthorization bills, and most importantly, where things stand with the key provisions important to you our membership and your students and institutions.
